Ralph was born and raised in Houston, Texas into a family with generations of musical talent. His
grandfather was a famous conductor/musician, and his father, Smiley Elizondo, is a well
known trumpet player. At the age of 7, Ralph began playing the drums and later went on to
play professionally for local and national bands. During this time he also sang back up
vocals while playing the drums.
He started perfecting his Elvis Tribute Show 8 years ago, after winning many local contests.
Audiences are impressed with Ralph's ability to sound, dance, and look like the King of
the early years.
The younger Elvis is more difficult to impersonate because of the variety of dance moves,
mannerisms, and vocal styles. Ralph's ability to impersonate this more difficult era has
gained him national attention.
Ralph has an impressive show with a large selection of unique costumes ( Jailhouse Rock,
Gold Lame, G.I. Blues, Black Leather Roustabout Movie, Blue Hawaii, and many more ), an
endless repertoire of songs ( over 250 ) and dance moves that always elicit screams from
the audience.
Many of Ralph's 50's clothes are purchased from Lansky's. Lansky's, is the well known store
in Memphis where Elvis purchased many of his clothes in the 1950's. Ralph is well respected
and has a close relationship with the original owner Mr. Bernard Lansky, who knew Elvis
personally.
Ralph's unique look of the 50's and 60's combined with his impeccable voice makes him one
of the best Elvis tribute artists of the nation. He continues to receive national recognition
as his spectacular performances dazzle audiences across the country.
